Governance and structure
Established as a not-for-profit company in 2000, WRAP is backed by government funding from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. WRAP is a private company limited by guarantee.
The culture at WRAP is one of focus, challenge, commitment and passion – although publicly funded, we have a private sector ethos. We have recruited very talented individuals within their specialist areas and there is a high level of intellect and knowledge in the business which must be channelled effectively by the Chief Executive and Directors.
WRAP’s knowledge and delivery capability are also held in high esteem externally, amongst the business community, in Central Government, in the Waste sector and in Brussels.
There is a very strong Board, consisting of key industry players and other relevant stakeholders.
